Farmer Seller Agreement

This agreement applies to all farm sellers using New River Valley Farmers Market.
Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must maintain accurate listings, keep inventory current, fulfill pickup commitments, and provide safe products that comply with applicable federal, Virginia, and local rules.
Compliance and Licensing
Sellers are responsible for determining and maintaining any permits, labels, registrations, inspections, and handling requirements that apply to their products and jurisdictions.
Payments and Fees
During the no-payment beta, online platform checkout and platform transaction fees are paused. Sellers coordinate payment directly with buyers. Stripe Connect onboarding and platform fees may apply after online payments are enabled.
Taxes
Sellers remain responsible for their own tax reporting and remittance unless otherwise required by law. Sellers must keep complete business records for their filings.
Content Standards
Sellers may not upload unlawful, explicit, deceptive, or infringing content. We may remove listings or suspend access for policy violations.
